Prior to joining New Leaf, Marc H. Schtul had his own firm, dedicated to serving clients needing assistance with family law matters. His combined accounting, financial services and legal experience helps him guide clients through the difficult decisions involved with the dissolution of marriage and other family law issues. Marc brings over 30 years of experience to the New Leaf Family.
Marc graduated from the Univ. of Denver School of Accountancy and successfully passed the CPA examination. He worked with a regional CPA firm before joining the Denver offices of E.F. Hutton, and later, Dean Witter as a licensed securities/financial representative. Marc ultimately decided to follow his dreams and returned to the University of Denver College of Law, where he graduated first in his class. Following graduation, he worked as a litigation associate, served as General Counsel for a manufacturing company, President/CEO of the Cherry Creek North Business Improvement District, and as CFO/General Counsel for a Denver company that provided analytic/Big Data services to Fortune 500 companies. Marc is admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado, United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Outside of work, Marc loves to travel with his wife, Barb, and their daughter, Kyle. They also ensure that Charlie, their mini dachshund, is properly spoiled.
